Downtown Disney is an outdoor shopping and entertainment center located in the middle of the Disneyland Resort. It’s the center point of all six Disney properties. It connects both Disneyland and Disney’s Californian Adventure Parks and the Disneyland, Grand Californian and Paradise Pier hotels.
It opened in 2001 alongside Disney’s California Adventure and the Grand Californian Hotel to Disneyland’s new resort transformation.
