Disneyland Resort announced today to build a fourth hotel at the resort. It will be a 700 room 4-diamond “resort oasis” located at the west end of Downtown Disney. It will be built where the current ESPN Zone, Rainforest Cafe, ACM Theaters, Earl of Sandwich and Starbuck’s sit. Disney also plans to have the monorail stop inside of the new hotel. Hotel construction is expected to begin next year and take about three years to complete. In addition to the new hotel, they will build another parking structure where the current Pinocchio parking lot sits just south of the Mickey and Friends parking structure. Parking construction should start early next year and take about a year to complete.
